Professional/Personal Accomplishments:
Gould, a graduate of Glassboro State College, in Glassboro, New Jersey, has held a variety of positions throughout his professional career. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict, Gould became the owner-operator of Harold's Welding Service in 1964, which is still in business. He worked in nuclear power plants as a nuclear pipe welder and served as a task analyst for
Du Gas of the United Arab Emirates.
In addition, he was an educator and worked with the Bridgeton (New Jersey) Board of Education, Cumberland County Board of Vocational Education and the State of New Jersey Department of Institutions & Agencies, in Leesburg, New Jersey. He became the vocational education director for six years in the New Jersey penal system, where he mentored former inmates. For the past 15 years, he has been a breeder, trainer and owner of thoroughbred horses. Currently, Gould races horses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
